There exist 7,168 living languages in the world which also include 142-150 sign languages. In a world where instead of harmony or unity, people get divided because of their perception of which language is better, they forget what is the purpose of language. Every being uses language to communicate their feelings, demands, question. We are social being. Our daily life involves interacting with another individual. It’s the fact that language barrier becomes the hindrance. But does that mean if a person cannot understand the language of another, the other person is abnormal and should be degraded? Today we had a empathizing trip to a café where the staff, although not speaks out language and neither understand what we are saying, understood what we wanted to communicate through gestures and a beautiful smile. None of the recognized living languages were used in the process. But we interacted and respected each other. This café is named “Echoes”. The staff here is deaf and dumb . But at no time we felt that we are having trouble to tell them what we need and this feeling was mutual. We had an awesome company of children from our centre. These children also face trouble in vocalizing their need but it never stopped us from understanding them. They do communicate but not same as usual but that does not mean we think any less of them. This language is full of laughs & humbling gestures. So it true, what is normal for us, might differ from what is normal for others. It just takes patience and lot of care, love to understand each other. So a toast to all of those who are different, our love is just same as you.
Common Reasons Children May Need Therapy:
- Anxiety and Depression: Increasing academic and social pressures can lead to mental health issues like anxiety or depression in children.
- Behavioral Issues: Disruptive or aggressive behaviors, difficulties in school, or changes in personality may indicate that the child is struggling with underlying emotional issues.
- Trauma: Children who have experienced traumatic events, such as abuse or witnessing violence, can benefit immensely from therapy.
- Developmental Disorders: Therapy also supports children with autism, ADHD, or learning disabilities in navigating their unique challenges.
